The Charleston Alumni Chapter of Voorhees College is pleased to represent alumni of the Lowcountry and to provide steadfast support to our alma mater. We encourage all interested alumni to join us as we continue in this pursuit. In the proud tradition of Voorhees College, our primary goal is work hard so that we can impact the hearts, the minds, and the spirits of those who come through the doors of Voorhees. Since a proportionally strong number of alumni are from the Charleston area, part of the chapter’s objective is to continue to build the strong bond that we have with the college through the number of active members and the quality of involvement.

Dedicated Members

Our members are passionate about our love for our alma matter and proud to support in any way that we can. As former students of Voorhees College, we recognize the importance of students to the institution. The chapter is committed to support students through our annual scholarship and other contributions.

Our Mission

To aid in the quality of our future alumni by assisting in the recruitment students to attend the College
To encourage and provide financial support of the institution
To foster relationships with current and future alumni and engage them in the life of Voorhees College.

Activities

We are tirelessly engaged in events and activities to raise funds and to support Voorhees College in other ways such as recruitment and Christine Frazier Scholarship. The chapter is constantly trying to increase the membership to engage more Voorhees alums in the Charleston area.
